Chamonix Village Provides a First-Class Destination for Ski Trips
Chamonix ski resort is found at the foot of the awe inspiring Mt Blanc in the French Alps and is generally regarded as the mountaineering and snowboarding capital of the world. The resort is known as a real playground for extreme sports during both winter and summer. Chamonix Mont Blanc was chosen to hold the first Winter Olympics back in the 1920s – but it’s also an area of amazing vistas providing a lot to the snowboarder and vacationer.
Differing from most modern snowboarding areas the town of Chamonix is not a purpose built snowboarding town and has been largely preserved from the monstrosities which litters a majority of the European Alps.
