Retired Surgeon Dr. Joel Roskind Set to Propose Facility Compliance Consulting

Dr. Joel Roskind is retired from plastic surgery, but busier than ever offering knowledge reaped from thirty-year career to physicians and medical scholars. As a surgeon, Dr. Joel Roskind specialized in body enhancements, but he also made a point of developing multiple interests in the medical area, giving broad expertise and perspective which he now plans to leverage as a instructor and advisor

As the operator of a successful plastic surgery office, a board certified surgeon licensed in four states, a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and former inspector for the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAASF), Dr. Joel Roskind is qualified to instruct and advise in many areas of medical practice.

He then joined the United States Navy and served as part of a three-man plastic surgery team. During that time, he traveled to Mexico to do surgery on underprivileged kids with congenital deformities. Also during that time, he began his lecturing career at the University of California, San Diego. He has gone on to lecture at the Nassau University Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital, Cornell Medical School and the University Of Miami School Of Medicine. He will now be teaching for the second time at Boston University School of Medicine.

And, Joel Roskind MD is an knowledgeable teacher. He has previously instructed at Boston University, as well as the Nassau University Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital, Cornell Medical School and the University of California, San Diego. He is also the former Voluntary Clinical Assistant Professor or Surgery at the University Of Miami School Of Medicine.
